Here are the main features Lusha offers: 👇🏼
- ◽️ Access to an enriched database.
- ◽️ Browser extension.
- ◽️ Data enrichment.
- ◽️ CRM integrations.
- ◽️ Segmentation and targeting.
- ◽️ Advanced prospect search.
- ◽️ Cold mail prospecting.
Lusha is particularly useful for sales teams, recruiters and marketers. ✨
What are the similarities and differences in functionality?
Before choosing the most appropriate tool for your strategy, it’s essential to understand the different interfaces and determine which one suits you best. ⬇️
1) Searching for a person’s e-mail address
Before launching an email campaign, it’s important to know the address to which you’re going to send your magnificent e-mails, isn’t it?
Let’s get started!
How do you do it with Waalaxy?
When you’re on the dashboard, click on “Start a campaign”, then on “Browse sequences”.
Then, in the filters, select “Email Finder”, it saves time. 🕗
Here you have 3 choices: ⬇️
- 1️⃣ You’ve already imported a list of prospects and would like to have their e-mail address.
- 2️⃣ From an auto-import.
- 3️⃣ You import directly via LinkedIn.
For this example, we’ve chosen to find the email address of Community Manager in Montpellier.
Once I’ve imported all the prospects (around 430) in my list using the LinkedIn search, I can launch my Email Finder.
You see, fast, simple and effective! 👀
How do I do it with Lusha?
On this tool, you have two ways of finding an email address: 👇🏼
- 1️⃣ By searching directly on Lusha with filters.
- 2️⃣ Via a LinkedIn search and the Lusha extension.
As with Waalaxy, we’ll use the LinkedIn search. 🔎
After running the search, we can see that the Lusha extension finds around 3 mails per result page. Yes, you have to manually change the page for the results to update. 😅
Not very practical when you have 100 pages of search results…
Then all you have to do is click on “Save to” and select a list to add your prospects to.
If we go back to Lusha, we can see the prospects added with their email addresses. 👀
2) Automating cold mailing campaigns
Once you’ve got your prospects’ e-mail addresses, it’s time to contact them! 😇
How do you do it with Waalaxy?
When you’re on the dashboard, click on “Start a campaign”, then on “Browse sequences”.
Next, add the “Email” filter to be more precise in your search.
For this example, we’ve chosen the sequence “2 Emails”.
You can name it (this step is optional, but helps avoid getting lost among all your future campaigns). 👀
Next, you’ll be able to add prospects in several ways: 👇🏼
- 🥇 From your lists (provided you’ve already filled them in beforehand).
- 🥈 From an auto-import (a person who performs an action linked to your LinkedIn account).
- 🥉 From LinkedIn (via the Waalaxy Chrome extension).
Here, we’ve already imported our leads, so we’ll choose “From my lists”.
All you have to do is write your message (you’ll see it directly after setting up on Lusha) 👀.
How to do it with Lusha?
Go to “Engage” where you must have linked your Gmail or Outlook address first. 😇
Now click on “New sequence” and you’ll be presented with two choices: 👇🏼
- 1️⃣ You can select email templates and customize them.
- 2️⃣ You create your emails and your sequence from A to Z.
As we wanted something simple, we chose to create our own sequence.
Now we’re on the page to write our message! 💬
Before moving on, here’s a little comparison chart! 👇🏼

3) Customizing a cold mailing message
Now that you’ve prepared your sequences, we can finally write our mail. 📧
How do we do it with Waalaxy?
Before you start, you can name your message template so that you can reuse it. ♻️
Next, you can choose an e-mail address to send your campaign to (Gmail, Outlook, or set up an e-mail account).
And now, start by writing the email subject line (very important for a good open rate). 👀
And now it’s time to write your email, you can add variables (first name, last name, company) to further personalize your email.
Once you’ve written your e-mail, all you have to do is define how long before you want to send another e-mail. 🗓️
Finally, all you have to do is write that last mail and everything’s ready to go. 🚀
How do I use Lusha?
Same principle as Waalaxy, you can first add a mail subject and start writing your email body. 📝
You can add the following variables:
- 🔲 First name.
- 🔲 Last name.
- 🔲 Company.
- 🔲 Position name.
- 🔲 Country.
- 🔲 Sector.
Then, you can define directly in the same window when to send your mail. ⏱️
After that, it’s time to add your contacts in three different ways:
- 🥇 From a saved list.
- 🥈 From a search.
- 🥉 Soon → from a CSV file.
All you have to do is program your cold mailing. ✨
4) Integration and compatibility with other tools

5) Ease of use and user interface
Now let’s talk about user interface and design! 💟
For Waalaxy
Arriving at the dashboard, we notice that the colors are harmonious and neat, the graphic charter is respected, and we access the main functionalities in a few clicks. 🐭
For example, the performance indicators are displayed directly.
You’ll quickly notice that Waalaxy puts a premium on visual consistency. 💟
On each of our campaigns, a set of colors is present:
- 🩶 Grey: not connected.
- 🧡 Orange: waiting.
- 💙 Blue: connected.
When you click on your name, you get directly your name of used and remaining credits, it avoids searching in all the parameters. 🤯
The watchword at Waalaxy is simplicity. In just a few minutes, you already have your campaign up and running and can start analyzing it. 🔎
Each time, you have a response rate in the form of a scale with a little explanation.
The tool is designed to guide us through every step.😇
For Lusha
First and foremost, Lusha is only available in English, but is still easy to use. 👀
The dashboard is well organized, with a direct view of the number of credits remaining and the various main information. 🔢
For example, you can directly: 👇🏼
- Access our latest searches.
- Launch a prospect search.
- See company recommendations based on our previous searches.
Navigation is easy, but, we have no CTA to start an email sequence or access our contact list directly. 😔
Then, the graphic charter is sober with a mix of gray, purple and blue, our eyes are quickly directed to the right place. 👀
A little comparison for this part! ⬇️

6) Support resources available to users
Sometimes, we prefer to access different resources to answer our questions rather than call customer service.
Let’s take a look at what the tools have to offer. 🔎
What resources are available on Waalaxy?
In the menu, you’ll find the What’s New and FAQ sections.
Okay, but what’s the point? 🤔
1️⃣ What’s new: this is Waalaxy news, especially new features.

However, before contacting support, you can consult a dedicated section where problems frequently encountered by other users are listed, with detailed answers and explanatory videos to help you. 😇
In addition, hundreds of articles are available on the blog and help center to assist and guide you in using the tool.
And if you still can’t find what you’re looking for, Waalaxy has set up a Facebook group open to all, with over 3,900 members.

7) User testimonials and market feedback
We couldn’t conclude this tool comparison without including user feedback.
Let’s take a look at their opinions straight away. 😇
Waalaxy reviews
According to users, Waalaxy’s main strength lies in its intuitive, easy-to-use platform. 🤩
Sequences and templates, classified by skill level from beginner to expert, are directly accessible on the tool.
The tool is also appreciated for its availability in 11 languages, enabling it to reach a global audience. 🌍
Waalaxy has succeeded in creating a unique universe, immersing us in their Galaxy. 🪐
However, some customers note the absence of a mobile app (which is common for prospecting tools for practical reasons) and the fact that the plugin is only available on Chrome.
Lusha reviews
Overall, according to users, the tool is easy to use for retrieving prospects’ emails and phone. 📱
Time is saved, the tool gets to the point and integration with CRMs is easy. 😇
💡 Lusha makes it possible to quickly access the contact of a CEO or marketing director with just a few clicks, which is a considerable time-saver.
However, many customers say that contact details are not always viable and that a French version would have been a plus.
Despite this, Lusha is a very good tool in its field, time-saving, to the point and easy to integrate with CRMs. 😇
Bonus: how to launch a campaign with Waalaxy?
As we said earlier, Waalaxy is a comprehensive tool that does more than just send emails and find a prospect’s email address.
Here’s a quick reminder of the main features:
- 🟣 Automation of LinkedIn invitations.
- 🔵 AI-assisted prospect identification.
- 🟣 Launch LinkedIn prospecting and mailing campaigns.
- 🔵 Automatic import of prospects.
- 🟣 Simplified LinkedIn messaging.
I’ll quickly explain how to launch a LinkedIn prospecting campaign ! 🚀
Step 1: choose your campaign
Clicking on “Create a campaign” will take you to a dashboard full of possibilities, where you can manage them and determine your prospects’ journey. 👀
You have several options at your disposal with different levels:
- “Beginner” sequences : simple sequences to get started (invitation, message, visit, etc.).
- LinkedIn” sequences : sequences including actions on LinkedIn (visit, invitation, message, etc.).
- LinkedIn + Email” sequences : sequences combining LinkedIn actions with the enrichment and/or sending of emails (visit, invitation, email, etc.).
Each sequence is organized in such a way as to enable Waalaxy to support you throughout your selection: ⬇️
- The sequences are sorted by level of difficulty, to avoid embarking on tasks that are too complex from the outset.
- They are also sorted by “Use Case” (promotion, recruitment, networking, affiliation, etc.).
- The number of sequences available for each category is visible at a glance.
Step 2: setting up your campaign
For this example, we’ve opted for the “Invitation + 2 messages” sequence. 😇
You’ll have the option of naming it (this step is optional, but useful to avoid getting lost among your many future campaigns).
Next, you’ll be able to add prospects in different ways:
- 1️⃣ From your lists, provided you’ve already filled them in.
- 2️⃣ Through an auto-import, i.e. a person performing an action linked to your LinkedIn account.
- 3️⃣ Directly from LinkedIn via the Waalaxy Chrome extension.
Once your prospects have been imported, you can add a note (it’s good to know that invitations accompanied by a note are accepted around 10% more often). 😅
At this point, you can also adjust the delay before the next action, ranging from 0 to 28 days. 📆
Next, start writing your message. 💬
💡 You can rename your message template, which automatically adds it to your existing templates, saving you from repeating the same writing.
You have a limit of 8,000 characters, so express yourself freely, but in moderation. 🍾
You can also enrich your text with various elements:
- Variables (such as first name, last name and company).
- Images.
- Attachments.
- Gifs.
- Voice notes (coming soon).
An added benefit? You can preview your text on the same page, ideal for checking that variables are working properly! 🤩
Finally, a quick recap of your campaign and all you have to do is click on “Launch my campaign” and Waalaxy takes care of the rest. 👽
Step 3: analyze your campaign
On the home page, you can directly access your campaign statistics.
Two filters are available:
- 🥇 By dates.
- 🥈 By selection of the campaign you wish to display.
What’s more, the statistics are presented in two different boxes: one for LinkedIn (in blue) and the other for emails (in purple, in line with the graphic charter).
In each box, Waalaxy highlights two key indicators: the number of responses and the response rate.
To track your LinkedIn campaigns, three separate boxes are available, depending on the type of campaign: ⬇️
- Invitations accepted and acceptance rate.
- Messages answered and response rate.
- Details of actions sent, presented in graphic form (with the option of downloading this data in CSV format).
For your email campaigns, other indicators are provided:
- Emails delivered and deliverability rate.
- Responses and response rates.
- Undelivered e-mails and bounce rate.
For statistics enthusiasts, the “Staff” section might also capture your attention. 👀
In this section, you’ll find a global overview including: ⬇️
- Prospect count by level.
- Prospects’ names accompanied by :
- Current stage.
- Status.
- Prospect list.
- Import mode.
- Associated tags.
- Filtering options according to import mode, stage, status or tags.
At Waalaxy, we value simplicity of use. You don’t need to be a statistics specialist to understand, a basic knowledge of a few KPIs is enough! 😇
From now on, Waalaxy results are at your fingertips. 🤫
