No need to send out every invitation manually: you target the right profiles, personalize your approach and create connections in a fluid, optimized way. And if you’re looking for an effective tool, Waalaxy is here to help! 💡
How do I send automatic invitations on LinkedIn?
LinkedIn automation is an effective strategy for optimizing your prospecting on this BtoB network. It allows you to send connection requests automatically, but also to respond to messages and interact with your prospects effortlessly. 💌
Its objective? Contact new leads seamlessly and automatically, while integrating these actions into every stage of your sales tunnel:
- ✅ Add qualified contacts to your network.
- ✅ Start conversations to capture prospects’ interest.
- ✅ Facilitate contact.
- ✅ Move towards conversion with lead nurturing.
To automate LinkedIn invitations, the technique is simple and free:
- 1️⃣ Have an active LinkedIn account (you don’t need Sales Navigator).
- 2️⃣ Define your target audience and find out how to find them on LinkedIn.
To send an automatic invitation message, you have 3 options:
- 🧍🏻♀️ Import profiles from a LinkedIn search into your free Waalaxy CRM .
- 👀 Send an automatic, personalized invitation to everyone who visits your profile,
- 📝 Send an automatic invitation to people who comment on one of your LinkedIn posts.
I’ll show you how it’s done with each option right away! But first: What’s Waalaxy? 🤓

Send an automatic invitation to profiles I’ve imported
The success of your prospecting depends largely on the relevance of your audience. Connecting with unqualified profiles can reduce your acceptance rate, impact your credibility and affect your overall performance. That’s why you need to identify profiles as well as possible before importing them. 🤓
You’re sure your leads are relevant, so here’s how to invite them👇🏻 :
- Install the Waalaxy extension.
- Go to the Campaign tab and create a campaign.
- Search for the “Invitation” sequence.
- Add prospects from your prospect list.

- Insert a connection note, or not.
- Launch the campaign. ⭐️
Add a personalized note to your connection request if your target is niche: a short, relevant message will capture their attention. On the other hand, without a note, your chances of acceptance increase on a wider audience. 🎯
Send an automatic invitation to people who visit my profile
If someone visits your LinkedIn profile, it’s because they’re potentially interested in your business or looking for services similar to yours. They’ve already shown an initial sign of interest, which means they’re much more likely to accept your invitation.📨
The auto-import feature lets you automatically populate your campaigns according to a defined criterion, in this case profile visit. You want to automatically send an invitation to everyone who visits your LinkedIn profile. Here’s how 👇🏻 :
- Go to the Campaign tab and Create a campaign.
- Search for and select the “Invitation” sequence.
- In the “Add prospects” section, select the list in which your prospects will be stored.
- Then click on “Auto-import” and “Visited my profile”.
- Write your connection note, or not.
- Launch the campaign. 🚀

You can select the “Retroactive” option, which will import all the people who visited your profile before auto-import was set up. 😎
Send an automatic invitation to people who comment on my LinkedIn post
These people have already interacted with you, which means they’re potentially interested in your content, expertise or services. They are therefore more likely to accept your invitation.🤩
To send these invitations, as for the profile visit, select: “Commented on a LinkedIn post”, add the URL of the post, and retrieve all the people who commented on your publication to send them an invitation.📮

Why automate your LinkedIn invitations?
Automatic invitation saves you a considerable amount of time compared with the manual method. You can send more requests in less time, while still respecting the threshold of requests authorized by LinkedIn.

How to write a good automated message on LinkedIn?
Once you’ve been accepted, you can send a message. To be effective, it must be short, punchy and value-oriented. It needs to grab attention in a matter of seconds! ⏱️
Here are my favorite tips for a good message 👇🏻 :
- 🗣️ Use a hook: a sentence that raises an issue. Ask a question to encourage your audience to get involved.
Examples:
👉 “Is [problem you’re solving] something that speaks to you?”
👉 “Have you ever been faced with [problem]?”
- ✅ Highlight key benefits: identify 3 concrete advantages of your product or service that resonate with your audience.
- 🚨 Create a sense of urgency: use odd numbers and less than 10 to grab attention and give your proposal credibility.
Example: “Our customers reduce their prospecting time by 7 hours a week.”
- ☎️ Add a clear call to action (CTA): give only one choice of action to avoid confusion. Offer a Calendly link, a form or a useful resource to encourage your prospect to go further.
- 🤓 Be concise: avoid long sentences and complex turns of phrase. A clear, direct message will be much more effective.
- 👩🏻🎨 Personalize your message: use {{firstName}} and {{Company}} variables to make your approach more natural and avoid an overly generic message.

How do I boost my LinkedIn automatic messages?
An accepted invitation doesn’t necessarily mean an engaged conversation. This is where follow-ups come in, playing a key role in turning a connection into an opportunity. A good follow-up is more than just a reminder of the first message. It’s about adding value, capturing attention and making your caller want to respond. Here are a few tips 👇🏻 :
- 👀 Keep the structure of your first posts identical to ensure smooth continuity.
- 🤗 Modify the tagline, value proposition and CTA to test a new angle of approach.
- 🥸 Avoid classic “Did you see my previous message?” reminders , which don’t add any value.
- 😎 Create a pattern break with a different approach.
- 🥳 Try using humor or first-name terms to make your follow-up more engaging and natural.
- 🏃🏻♀️ Be direct and informal: get straight to the point in less than 500 characters to maximize your chances of a response.
“Hi {{firstName}} ,
I wanted to share an interesting success story with you! A sales team in [similar industry] doubled their conversions in just 3 months using Waalaxy. By automating their prospecting, they also saved an average of 7 hours per week on repetitive tasks.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a paid subscription to automatically send an invitation?
Great news! You can send automatic invitations with a free subscription to Waalaxy. It’s already easy to expand your network 😇
However, some advanced features, such as lead auto-import, require a paid subscription. Auto-import is particularly useful if you want to automate the addition of new contacts based on specific criteria (profile visits, interactions on your posts…).👀
Is the connection note compulsory?
No, the connection note is totally optional. You can send an invitation without adding a personalized message 📝
In fact, depending on your target and your strategy, it may be more effective to leave them out. One study has shown that invitations without a note sometimes have a higher acceptance rate, as they seem more natural and less business-oriented.😎
👉 When to add a note?
✅ If your target is niche, a short, relevant message can capture their attention and increase your chances of acceptance.
✅ If you’re targeting a wide audience, it’s often best to leave it out to avoid a « sales message » effect.
If you’d like to find out more, we’ve put together a case study: Should you contact your prospects with or without an invitation?
Do I have to leave my computer open for my invitations to be sent?
If you have a paid plan on Waalaxy, Cloud activation is mandatory for the tool to work. The huge advantage is that your campaigns continue to run even when your computer is switched off. You no longer need to keep LinkedIn open, allowing you to automate your prospecting without constraint.🤩

On the other hand, if you’re on the Freemium plan, your computer must remain switched on and a LinkedIn tab open for the actions to execute correctly. This ensures that invitations are sent securely, using your usual IP address, without risk to your account.🥳
In all cases, the Waalaxy extension must be active to ensure smooth and secure shipments. 🥸
Can I choose the time slots during which Waalaxy sends actions?
Yes, you can program the times and days you want your actions to be sent directly in your account settings 👀
➡️ This allows you to :
- ✅ Personalize your campaigns by sending your invitations at the most strategic times.
- ✅ Respect your audience’s habits by adjusting the sending according to when they are on LinkedIn or their time zone.
- ✅ Avoid a mass mailing in one go, making your prospecting more fluid and natural.
➡️ How do I do it?
Go to Settings > Account activities, then select the days and times you’d like to send your actions. You can also choose your time zone to suit your international audience.🌍
